Community Carton, Tray & Egg Shell Return Program

Our Community Carton, Tray, and Egg Shell Return Program is a simple way to reduce waste and keep useful materials in circulation. Customers are invited to return clean egg cartons, reusable 30 egg trays, and clean, dry eggshells to Tournesol Farm so they can be reused or put back to good use around the farm whenever possible.

This program helps us reduce packaging waste, lower unnecessary costs, and make better use of materials that still have value. It also gives our customers a simple way to take part in the more thoughtful systems we are building at the farm.

How It Works

  1. Bring back clean egg cartons from past purchases.
  2. Return reusable 30 egg trays in clean and reusable condition.
  3. Save clean, dry eggshells and return them to the farm in a bag or container.
  4. Drop returns off at the farmstand or another approved Tournesol Farm location.
  5. Eligible returns may receive a deposit refund, store credit, discount, or other reward depending on the item returned and current program terms.

Program Terms

  • Egg cartons must be clean and in reusable condition.
  • 30 egg trays must be clean, unbroken, and reusable to qualify for deposit return or credit.

  • We reserve the right to decline returns that are wet, moldy, damaged, dirty, or not suitable for reuse.
  • Deposit refunds, credits, discounts, or rewards may vary depending on the type of return.
  • Returns may only be accepted at approved Tournesol Farm locations.
